Larry E. Minga, age 57, resident of Pascagoula, died on Saturday, December 30, 2006 in Pascagoula.
Mr. Minga was born in Hernando, MS and was a former resident of Jackson, MS. While in Jackson, he managed concessions for events at the Jackson Coliseum. He was affectionately known as """"Uncle Larry"""" to all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gus David and Jessie Mae Hopson Minga; a sister, Patricia Spence.
Mr. Minga is survived by his beloved daughter, Angie Durr of Jackson; sisters, Dorothy Clark of Pascagoula, Evelyn McKnatt of Florence, MS, and Dean Furlow of Florence, MS; brothers, David Minga, William Minga, and Bobby Joe Minga, all of Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express a deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to the staff at Trinity Hospice for their love and care.
Memorial services for Mr. Minga will be held at a later date.
