Larry Anthony Lind, Sr. age 69, of Kiln, passed away on August 31, 2022 after a 2 yearlong battle with esophageal cancer. He was born in Kiln, MS on March 18, 1953.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Jeanette North Lind; maternal grandparents, Valina and Daniel North; and paternal grandparents, Michael and Sarah Lind.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Marie Ladner Lind of Kiln; son Larry Anthony Lind, Jr. of Fort Worth, TX; brother, Robert (Pam) Lind; nephews, Bobby (Megan) Lind, Nicky Harmon; niece, Danielle (Robert) Loper; great-nieces, Amelia, Audrey, Reece; and great-nephew, Reed.
Larry graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg with a degree in Computer Science, and was a member of the Southern Miss Alumni Association. He worked for Keesler Federal Credit Union as a Computer Programmer for over 30 years. He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church, in Kiln, MS where he served as a lector. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends. He was also a die-hard Southern Miss and NFL football fan and enjoyed watching the games.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Annunciation Catholic Church, Kiln at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
