Larry Langston

Larry Edmund Langston, 63, died Saturday, April 30, 2022, in Pine Bluff, AR.

Born and raised in Gulfport, MS, Langston was a talented carpenter whose 40+ years of work will live on along the Mississippi Gulf Coast for years to come. His craftsmanship spanned house framing and painting to crafting exceptional custom cabinetry. He enjoyed music, fishing, and spending time with friends and family -- and will be forever remembered for his kind smile and friendly disposition.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Allen and Janette Langston, and his sister, Grace Allyn Langston Ladner. He is survived by his son, Harold (and Nicole) Langston of Pine Bluff, AR; his son’s mother, beloved friend and caretaker, Mary Balsz of Pine Bluff, AR; brother, Glen (and Cissy) Langston of Gulfport, MS; his grandson, Trenton Langston of Pine Bluff, AR; and many cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

A private service and burial will be held at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens, Long Beach. Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport is serving the family.
