Larry S. """"Armidillo"""" Ladner, 75, of Pass Christian died Thursday, September 7, 2006 in Pass Christian.
He was a native of Harrison County and remained a lifelong native of the area. He worked at the Gulfport VA Hospital, where he retired and served in the U.S. Army. He was of the catholic faith and enjoyed hunting, dancing, and gatherings with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Zelma Dorothy Necaise Ladner and his parents, Curvis Ladner and Aliene Ladner.
Survivors include his children: Sharon (Pat) Hoda, Larry Dale Ladner, Rhonda (Michael) Necaise, Darren (Roxanne) Ladner, and Pat Ladner; 8 brothers and sisters: Faye Hutchinson, Harris Ladner, Dorothy Cuevas, Elaine Moran, Jimmy Ladner, Barbara Williams, Elton Ladner, and Sandra Caccioppo; granchildren: Steven and Stanley Hoda, Pricilla McQueen, Mark Moran, Larry Dale Ladner, Jr., Shedette Garcia, Kelby Ladner, Brandi Smith, Courtney Ladner, Chelsea Ladner, Patrick Ladner, Jr., and Dustin Ladner; 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, September 8, 2006 from 6-10 pm at Gulf Coast Funeral Home, Kiln DeLisle Road Chapel, Pass Christian. The funeral service will be 11 am Saturday in the funeral home chapel.
