Larry Hoda

Larry James Hoda, 64, of Kiln, died December 11, 2005 in the Kiln. Mr. Hoda was born May 21, 1941 in Hancock County. He retired from the Mississippi Forestry Commission after 33 years. He was Catholic. Mr. Hoda is preceded in death by parents, Ares Hoda, Sr. and Katherine Cameron Hoda. He is survived by his sons; Christopher James Hoda and wife Tammy of Kiln, Mark Dempsey Hoda of Crane Creek, Clark Alan Hoda of Crane Creek, Marco Herring of Kiln, a daughter; Laura Annette Russell and husband Wallace, of Kiln, His significant other Myrna Ladner of the Kiln and her children, Alton Kent Roche, of Kiln, Wesley James Roche and wife Hope, of Bay St. Louis, Shonda Branger and husband Ryan of Kiln, brother; Ares (A.J.) Hoda, Jr. and Wife Vernell of Kiln, sisters Marlene Daniels and husband Albert, Sr. of Kiln, Helen Scarborough and husband Oscar, of Gulfport and Linda Ladner and husband Norman of Kiln and fifteen grandchildren. Visitation, Tuesday, December 13, 2005 from 10:00-2:00 at St. Matthews Catholic Church with Service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Standard Sandhill Cemetery. Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, Inc is in charge of arrangements.
