Larry Brown

Larry R. Brown, age 71, of Gulfport, passed away on May 1, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray T. Brown and Anna Lois Brown.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Wanda Clutts Brown; a son, B. Chase Brown (Kristen G. Brown); 2 sisters, Lois Brown Benefield and Lisa B. Threadgill-Simpson (Buddy Simpson); a grandson, Caleb Chase Brown; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.  He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Mr. Brown was a native of Hattiesburg, MS and was a longtime resident of Gulfport.  He was a graduate of Gulfport East High School, the University of Southern Mississippi with a business degree, and William Carey University with an accounting degree.  He served for several years in the MS Army National Guard.  Larry worked for MS Power Company, Electric City, and Ameripride Linen Services.  He was a New Orleans Saints fan, LSU fan, he enjoyed antique cars and Crusin the Coast.

The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support that each of you have shown.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, from 1 - 2 pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.  The funeral service will be at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
