Larry Eldredge Bennett, Sr., 68, of Ocean Springs, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in Gulfport.
He is preceded in death by his father, Alfred Bennett; mother, Virginia Holden Bennett; and brothers, Jay Bennett and Donald Bennett.
Survivors include his children, Susan Lossett (Wesley) of Kiln, MS, Larry E. Bennett, Jr. of Gulfport, MS, and Raymond Bennett (Meredith) of Ocean Springs, MS; brother, Ronnie Bennett (Betty) of Bay St. Louis, MS; and grandchildren, Don, Laura, Beau, Sebastian, Samantha, and Brooke.
He had the most unique sense of humor, and he shared it with everyone. A loving father and grandfather, that will be sadly missed and our prayers are with you Daddy.
Services will be private and held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the Staff of Memorial Hospital for there care and compassion.
