Lane F. Lashbrook, age 76 and a resident of Ocean Springs, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012 in Ocean Springs.
Lane was a long time resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and was a boat captain. He was retired from the U S. Air Force with over twenty years of honorable service. Lane loved hotrods, and was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to many. He will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Helen Lashbrook; his wife Martha Bellande Lashbrook; two brothers, Luke Lashbrook and Leo Lashbrook; and a sister, Thoma Apt.
He is survived by his three sons, Randell Lashbrook of Ocean Springs, Lane Joseph Lashbrook (Nia Sievers) of Freeport, Florida, and Timothy Lashbrook of Kansas City, Missouri; daughter, Sherri Harrell of Ocean Springs; brother, Robert Lashbrook (Shirley) of Pendleton, Indiana; sister, Joan Russell of West Palm Beach, Florida; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Biloxi, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Southern Memorial Park.
