Kim E. Williams, Sr., age 56 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Thursday, January 5, 2012, in Gulfport.
Mr. Williams was a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast and a longtime employee with the City of Gulfport in the Parks and Recreation Department. He enjoyed working on lawnmower engines and was an avid fisherman. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Marie Williams-Buley and a grandson baby boy; his parents, Edward & Alberta Williams and a sister, Gay Nell Williams.
Kim is survived by his daughter, Rachel (Jeff) Barlow of Oklahoma; his son, Kim E. (Tammy) Williams, Jr. of Gulfport; his twin brother, Kent (Sheila) Williams, Sr. of Gulfport; his sisters, Rhonda (Bob) Sanders of Idaho and Becky (Chuck) Yetter of California; 11 grandchildren, Chad, Josh, Tyler, Christian, Tanner, Kris, Cameron, Jaxon, Kenzie, Brayden, and Laura-Lynn and numerous nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012, at 6:00pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
