Kim Lan Thi Nguyen

Kim Lan Thi Nguyen, a cherished matriarch and beloved figure among her family, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2024, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 12, 1942, in Vietnam, Kim's life was a tapestry woven with love, resilience, and familial devotion.

Throughout her years, Kim embodied the spirit of nurturing and warmth, creating an environment where love flourished.   She is survived by her adoring children: Lien Le, Huong Le, Chau Le, Thu Le, Phung Le, Tuan Nghia Le, and Kim (Robert) Bailey. Each child carries forward her legacy of love, wisdom, and compassion instilled through her unwavering support and guidance. Lan also took great joy in her grandchildren—Trang Nguyen, Duong Nguyen, Khoa Nguyen, Binh Dang, Dong Dang, Angelina Le, Sang Dang, Huynh Dang, Han Le, Son Le, Ho Le, Jason Le, Jeanne Nguyen, Jennifer (Nick) Bounma, Cody Le, Stephanie Boyland, Stenson Nguyen, and Stephan Nguyen—each a shining testament to her nurturing spirit.

With pride, she embraced her role as a great-grandmother to Evelyn Nguyen, Elaine Nguyen, Elliott Huynh, Axton Bounma, Adrianne Bounma, Aubrey Bounma, Bryan Nguyen, Thu Nguyen, Tho Nguyen, Huyen Dang, Luc Dang, and Nghia Dang. The bonds she cultivated across generations reflect her profound love and the rich legacy she leaves behind.

While Kim's absence will be deeply felt, her memory endures through the lives she touched. The guiding light of her kindness and strength remains present within her beloved family, offering solace in moments of sorrow.

Before her departure, Lan was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Lang Van Le, as well as her parents, Hue Huu Nguyen and Giac Thi Le. Their spirits travel together into eternity, united in love and respect.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Riemann Family funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd, West Jackson from 9:00 AM until time of services at 12:00-Noon. Interment Crestlawn Memorial Park. 

In these moments, family and friends will gather to celebrate her life, reflect on the joy she brought, and recount the beautiful stories that shall forever echo in their hearts.

As this loving family comes together to honor Kim’s remarkable journey and indelible spirit, they lean on one another, lifting her memory high, ensuring that her legacy of love continues to blossom.
