Kevin Patrick McCaffrey, age 64 of Anchorage, AK, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.
He was a native of Maxwell, CA and moved to Anchorage, AK to be with the love of his life, Lynne. Kevin earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Services at University of Alaska at Anchorage. He was an Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor and managed Otter House Assisted Living Home.
Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Brown Ousley; his stepfather, Clarence Ousley; his maternal grandparents, Clifford and Dorothy Brown; and his paternal grandparents, Joe and Marge McCaffrey.
He is survived by his beloved of 20 years, Lynne Stevens of Anchorage, AK; his father, Patrick J. McCaffrey (Helen) of Bristol, PA; his cherished children, Kevin P. McCaffrey, II of Anderson, CA and Courtni A. McCaffrey of Loyalton, CA; his siblings, Brian J. McCaffrey of Anchorage, AK, Patrick McCaffrey (Castonia) of Casa Grande, AZ, Bonnie Leck (Paul) of Levittown, PA, and Patricia McCaffrey (Jennifer Groves) of Bristol, PA; his precious grandchildren, Madison McCaffrey, Peyton McCaffrey, both of Anderson, CA and Brayden Bashline of Colfax, CA; the mother of his children, Staci Webb (Lindsey); his “roommate”, whom he loved like his own child, B.J. McDole; and his fur babies, Baxter Louie, Molly Doodle, and Delilah Rose.
Kevin enjoyed camping, coin collecting, traveling, and most of all watching “his” New York Yankees play.
A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Maxwell Legion Hall, 250 Oak Street, Maxwell, CA 95955.
