Kerry “PawPaw” Brann (Master Sgt. USAF, Ret.), age 64, drifted peacefully to heaven to be reunited with his beloved wife, Kim, and his parents, Rudolph and Joyce, on November 15th, 2019. He was surrounded by his three loving sons, Terry, Paul, and Tommy. He was born December 28, 1954 in Saint Louis, Missouri, to Rudolph Campbell Brann and Charlotte Joyce (Gutridge) Brann.
Kerry was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Joyce Brann; and his wife, Ok Sun (Kim) Brann.
He is survived by his sons, Terry Campbell Brann, Paul Michael Brann, and William Thomas Brann; daughters-in-laws, Heather, Shelly, and Jessica; grandchildren, Emily, Jacob, Julianne, Calvin, Timothy, Ava, Emmet, Abigail, Destiny, Evan, Hailey, and Elizabeth; great-granddaughter, Amelia; brother and sisters, Rudy, Barbie, Mary, and Emy; his cousins, nieces and nephews; and his dog, Walter.
He retired from the United States Air Force after twenty years of dedicated service as an Avionics Navigation Systems Instructor (Jan. 1974-Feb. 1994). He began instructing a Technology Applications course at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in January 1994 and went on to instruct and develop curriculum as a federal employee at Keesler Air Force Base. He retired after fourteen years of dedicated civilian service to the United States Air Force as an Instructional Systems Specialist (GS-11).
Kerry was a kind, generous person, loving father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed fishing, coin-collecting, woodworking, and spending time with family and his dogs; he loved animals, nature, and his country. He will be truly missed by family, friends, and anyone who knew him.
The family wishes to extend sincere appreciation to Notre Dame Hospice, Garden Park Hospital, Keesler Medical Center, and Southern Care Hospice for providing Care and comfort to Kerry, and support and assistance to the family, and Riemann Family Funeral Home in Gulfport for their service.
Kerry was laid to rest on Wednesday, November 20th, 2019, at Biloxi National Cemetery.
