Mr. Kenny Eastep, age 43, of Long Beach, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2011.
Mr. Eastep was born in Columbia, TN. He was always aware of people in need and went to great measures to help them. He was a mentor for youth in the state working through Camp Shelby in Hattiesburg, MS. He worked for Fagan Trucking out of Saucier, MS. He attended Gulf Coast Worship Ceneter in Long Beach.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Eastep (Dec. 2, 2009), and a special child he mentored for 9 years, Lance Nonemacher.
He is survived wife, Tamara Parker Eastep of Long Beach; his mother, Carolyn Eastep of Mt. Pleasant, TN; his children, Brandon Lane Eastep of Long Beach, and Joshua Ben Dugger of Mt. Pleasant; siblings, Randy Eastep (Tammy) of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Stan Eastep (Pat) of Mt. Pleasant, TN, and Barry Eastep (Melanie) of Columbia, TN; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald Lee Parker and Katherine Marie Parker.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Williams Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant, TN from 5-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, June 12, 2011, at 3:00 p.m.
Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
