Kenneth Schneider

CPO Kenneth Edward Schneider, USN, Ret., age 95 of Gulfport, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021.

He is survived by his son, Stan (Michelle) Schneider of Pensacola, FL, and his grandson, Kenneth L. (Stephanie) Schneider of Pensacola, FL.

Kenneth is a native of St. Louis, MO.  After high school, he joined the US Navy serving in WWII.  He was stationed throughout Europe and Asia and spent many years in Hawaii.  After retiring from the Navy as Chief Petty Officer, Mr. Schneider worked as a security guard at Disney World. He was a member of numerous fraternal organizations and for the last fifteen years, he has lived at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, MS.

Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport, served the family. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.riemannfamily.com
