Kenneth Ray Melton

Kenneth Ray Melton, age 84, a resident of Delisle, MS, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lola Melton; parents, Frank and Kate Melton; daughter, Katie Melton; brother, Everett Melton; grandson, Joseph Saucier; and daughter in law, Joann Melton.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 39 years, Elizabeth “Betty” Garcia Pujol Melton; children, Donnie Melton (Marie), Ernie Melton (Jackie), Keith Melton, Audrey Saucier (Dennis Ray); stepchildren, Alfred Pujol III, Shirley Pujol Gates (Billy Sr.), Debbie Pujol; sister, Nola Mae Owens; grandchildren, Diane Melton, Pricilla Delucia (Pete), Robin Saucier (Jeff); step grandchildren, Melissa Gates (Andrew Cutler), Michelle Gates (Jason) Durshel, Billy Gates, Jr. (Martha), Jeremy Pujol, Chase Pujol, Tyler Pujol; great grandchildren, Brianna Young, Arnold Melton, Andrea Malone, Samantha Woods, Chris Woods, Katie Melton, Krystella Saucier, Lola Saucier; 10 step great grandchildren great great grandchild, Addison Young; his fur baby, Tena; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to enjoying time with his family, Kenneth absolutely loved landscaping and gardening.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Pass Christian at 11:00am with a visitation for family and friends beginning at 10:00am. A burial will follow in Wolf River Cemetery.
