Kenneth Melvin Cuevas, age 80, of Pass Christian, passed away on October 30, 2018.
He was a lifelong resident of the Coast and served in the United States Air Force. He retired from Teledyne Irby Steel as an X-Ray Technician.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Ann Cuevas; his son, Kenneth Gregory Cuevas; daughter, Veronica Rose Cuevas; his parents, Melvin and Eva Cuevas, and Willie Cuevas; and his siblings, Nolan, Gerald "PeeWee", and Johnnie Cuevas.
He is survived by his children, Sherryel Tyree (Walter) of Pass Christian, and Dalwin Cuevas of Diamondhead; siblings, Nathan Cuevas (Eva Gay), Jerry Cuevas, Willie Mae Peterson, Jessie Mae Holland (Archie), Billy Cuevas, and J.D. Cuevas; 8 grandchildren, Chris, Shaun, and Melissa Cuevas, Aaron Matthews, Damion Cuevas, Deviney Allen, Leanne Ladner, and Blake Matthews; 18 great grandchildren; and a large extended family and many friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Kiln Delisle Road, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
