Kenneth Dale "Eb" Bosarge

Kenneth ""Eb"" Dale Bosarge, age 62 and a lifelong resident of Saucier, died on Friday, March 30, 2012, in Saucier.
He served in the United States Marine Corp as a lance corporal in the Lima Company 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division during the Vietnam War. While serving in the Marines, he was the recipient of the Purple Heart with 1 star (the first one he received on May 22, 1968 and the second one he received on June 11, 1968), Vietnamese Service Medal with 1 bronze star, National Defense Medal, and the Vietnamese Campaign Medal with 1960 device (Vietnam). He was also a member of Success Baptist Church in Saucier.
Mr. Bosarge was preceded in death by his parents, Davenies E., Sr. and Gladys L. Bosarge; his paternal grandparents, Davenies P. & Lillian Bosarge and his maternal grandparents, Alvin & Nancy Saucier.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Patti Bosarge; his daughters, Amy Mahaffey and Dena (Brad) Hickman; his grandchildren, Cody & Blake Mahaffey and Emily Hickman; his sister, Debbie Preston; his brothers, David (Jackie) Bosarge, Ronald (Linda) Bosarge, Kelly (Reba) Bosarge, and Davenies, Jr. ""Rooster"" (Charlotte) Bosarge and his special friends, Kenissia, Sally, and Elaine.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, from 6pm-8pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2012, at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors to be rendered by the United States Marine Corp Honor Guard.
