Kendrick Lowery

November 3, 2002 — June 4, 2019

Kendrick Lowery died early Tuesday morning June 4, 2019.  He was 16 years old.
He was born November 3, 2002, in Slidell, La. He lived with his family in Pass Christian, MS.
He was a junior at Pass Christian High School.  He was a Jehovah's Witness and attended the Kingdom Hall Long Beach, MS.
He is survived by his parents, Daren and Tricia Lowery; and his brother Nathan Lowery; his grandparents,  Joe and Pat Hiti of Fairhope, AL  and Faye Lowery and the late Ronnie Lowery of Heidelberg, MS.  He was also beloved and will be sorely missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, too numerous to list.
Kendrick enjoyed many types of sports and recreation including traveling with his family to various destinations throughout the country and islands.  Camping and hiking helped to build in him a love for creation and his creator, Jehovah God.  From childhood he looked forward to the fulfillment of God's promise to restore the earth to a peaceful, paradise. (Isaiah 11: 6-9 and Psalm 37:11, 29)
While enjoying recreation and admiring the marvels of nature, he also learned the importance of seeking knowledge.  His real talent was in the classroom where his hard work and serious approach to learning helped him to excel academically.  Still, he will be remembered as modest and humble. (Micah 6:8)
From an early age Kendrick's parents instilled in him the importance of following closely the footsteps of Jesus Christ.  As a youth, it was said of Jesus, "...he went on progressing in wisdom and in physical growth and in favor with God and men."  Like Jesus, Kendrick showed respect for his parents and others demonstrating that he was a Christian youth in word and deed.
God's son, Jesus Christ promises that in the near future he will rescue our loved ones from death by means of the resurrection.   Young and old who have "fallen asleep in death" will hear his voice awaken them. (John 5:28,29; 1 Thess. 4:13)
With the power that our creator, Jehovah God, has given him Jesus Christ will heal our "broken hearts" in a special way! (Isaiah 61:1, 2 and Psalm 4:1, 3)
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd., Long Beach, with a visitation for family and friends from 12:00 PM until the service.
