Kendell Renee Byrd, 30, of Biloxi, died Sunday, September 23, 2012 in Biloxi.
Kendell was previously employed by Grand Casinos Biloxi and Gulfport, and by Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi. She is a graduate of the Central Florida School of the Arts where she majored in cosmetology and excelled especially in makeup and hair styling.
Kendell's interesting and often inspiring outlook on life could always be found in the many journals she kept and in the love of her children. She was a beautiful person inside and out and her smile would light up a room. She will be forever missed by all who knew her, including her loving dog, Kali.
Kendell was preceded in death by her daughter, Angel Byrd-Davis, father, David Melvin Byrd of Gulfport, her brother, Daniel Manemann of Biloxi, and her great-grandparents, Arnold ""Dusty"" and Eloise Maddox of Gulfport and James and Berniece Rouse of Saucier.
Survivors include her two children, Devin and Tyler Byrd-Davis of Gulfport, long-time partner, Jessie Davis of Gulfport, her parents, Tracey and George Manemann of Biloxi, a sister, Angela Stucker of San Antonio, TX, grandparents, Wanda Sue and Richard Smith of Ocean Springs and Melvin and Bettie Byrd of Gulfport, aunts, Theresa Lees of Warner Robins, GA, Ann Atkins and Toni Moran of Gulfport, and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
