Kelly stated many, many times that she was blessed to work for and be loved by such an awesome work family.
A very special thank you to a member of her work family who was more than her supervisor to Kelly she was her friend "Her Sista" Shelley Simmons McKay for all of her understanding, her abilities to get it done or as she would say "I got you" and her love for Kelly and her son, Paul during this difficult time and throughout the years of their friendship.
Thank you to her hospice nurses Gina, Theresa, Michael and CNA Nicki for their compassion and care. A special thank you to Mike from DME Express who was amazing. And to Ms. Delores Lewis her sitter, who is a sweet gentle soul that helped immensely during Kelly's final days.
A very grateful thank you to Dr. Techksell Washington and Sara Lochern, PA of the Regional Cancer Center. They are a wonderful, amazing and compassionate team. Kelly "loved" them from the moment Dr. Washington took over her care.
There are two things Kelly will always be in our hearts; a Georgia girl and her Daddy's girl!
