Katy Kirby Skelton, age 86 and a resident of Moss Point, MS, died Monday, January 7, 2008, in Moss Point.
Mrs. Skelton was a native of Woodland, MS, and was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover Cleveland Kirby and Yancy Springer Kirby; brothers, Robert Hugh Kirby, Franklin Kirby, and Carl Kirby; and her eldest son, David Austin Skelton.
Survivors include her children, Barbara Skelton Thomas and husband, James, of Water Valley, MS; and Warren Trent Skelton and his wife, Joyce, of Moss Point; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2008, in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Mantee, MS.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi.
