Kathy Strange

Katherine “Kathy” M. Strange, age 67, passed away on November 4, 2021.

Kathy was born in Escondido, California, travelled immensely as a young child in a military family and was especially fond of her memories and friends growing up in Morocco.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gustavus Adolphus Myers III and Ruth Lea Nickle Myers; and her brother, Gustavus A. Myers IV.

Survivors include her husband of 48+ years, Allen Strange; two sisters, Pamela M. Richert and Connie M. Byrd; a very special friend Debbie Davis; numerous nieces and nephews; and a large community of very dear friends.

After retiring from co-owning the Hobby Corner-Model Trains (Laurel, MS) in 2003, she and Allen moved to the Gulf Coast. Since then she had been very active in the Coasts antique car community and was a lifetime member of the Antique Auto and Engine Club of Mississippi (AAECM). Apart from antique cars, Kathy will also be remembered for her love of all nature.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation starting at 10:00 AM at Riemann Family Funeral Homes, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. Gulfport, MS.
