She was a beloved employee at Lynn Meadows Discovery in Gulfport, MS, her home away from home. This is where she came to life inspiring the small minds of the children of Bear Cub Club.  They were her family.  She attended many birthday parties, babysat some, and even took some to the movies or lunch.  They were all so important to her.
Over 38 years, Kathy taught the young minds of 2 nd grade at Green Acres, aka as Reeves Elementary, and Covenant Christian School, where she touched so many lives throughout many generations of children, evening teaching her own favorite granddaughter Brianna, in 2 nd grade. She was so proud of the young teacher Brianna was becoming.  They shared the love of singing, dancing and most of all the love of teaching young minds.
Throughout her life she has devoted countless hours to numerous organizations such as Kiwanis, Salvation Army, multiple local theatre groups and many more.  She was a devoted member of Alpha Delta Kappa, a teaching sorority, where she donated an untold amount of time to altruistic projects for Ronald McDonald House, Women's Shelter and Children's shelter.  All of these women were her sisters of the heart.
She enjoyed staying busy with her Bunco group, Tripoley/Quiddler girls, Vacation Bible School and teaching Early Childhood Classes.  Her most loved past time was to spend time with her favorite grandson, Brayden, eating countless crab claws, playing monopoly and sharing the love of Marvel and Star Wars movies.  She taught him how to be a gentleman and loved having long conversations with him.  She was so proud of the young man he has become.
To know Kathy was to love her, she lived her life to the fullest and to make a difference in others, to enrich, inspire, and encourage young minds.  She held numerous degrees and titles in her life but her most important and loved title was Mom and Mimi.
