Kathryn ""Kate"" Smith, age 87, of Gulfport, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at the Boyington Nursing Home.
Kate was a long-time resident of Ft. Worth, TX and moved to the MS Gulf Coast in 2002. She was a member of the Ft. Worth Sidewinders Motorcycle Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gould ""Smitty"" Smith and her son, James ""Ronnie"" Wallace. Survivors include her 4 children: son DA Wallace & wife, Diana, daughter Betty Petty, daughter Sheila Donald & husband, Jerry and son Michael Wallace; grandchildren, Teresa G. Wallace, Roger A. Wallace, Trisha Johnson & husband Alwin, Kayla Reece & husband Jimmy, Tejohn Petty & wife Betsy, and Jaimie; great-grandchildren, Diddie, Justin and Derek Hinojosa, Ryan Elizabeth Wallace, Gage Reece, Gwyn and Abby Petty, and Jacob.
The family will hold a private family memorial at a later date. Arrangements by RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Road in Gulfport. Tributes may be offered at www.riemannfamily.com.
