Kathryn "Vicki" Victoria Scott, age 69 of Long Beach MS, went to be with the Lord on December 19th, 2018.
Kathryn was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico but was a long time resident of Long Beach, MS.
She was preceded in death by her brother, James K. Smith
She is survived by her mother, Louanne Smith of Long Beach, MS.; her sister, Ruby Bassett of Long Beach MS.; her son, Christian Moreland of Charleston, SC.; her nephew Don Smith of Green Valley, MD.; her grand-daughter Brittany E. Moreland of Jacksonville, FL.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kathryn worked at Gulfport Memorial Hospital for 18 years for many doctors and clinics. She was by trade a Surgery Scheduler but was a caregiver by nature.
Kathryn was a lover of all animals. She took in many strays over the years and loved each one in her own special way. She was an excellent cook and made sure no one ever went hungry. She was a great singer and an avid reader. She was the best mother anyone could ever ask for.
