Kathryn Hage

Kathryn Fadwa Hage was born October 1, 1962, in Gulfport, Mississippi and passed away peacefully June 9, 2018 while vacationing with her family and friends.
Kathy grew up in Gulfport and graduated from St. John High School.  She attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and completed the Meridian Junior College School of Dental Hygiene.  Kathy practiced dental hygiene for many years.
Kathy was active in numerous organizations on the Coast.  She was a past president of Kappa Delta Gulf Coast Alumnae Chapter and a past president of the Gulfport Yacht Club Ladies Auxiliary.  She was also a member of The Merry Maskers, Gulfport Revelers, Four Seasons Garden Club, and Gulf Gardeners. Kathy served as a Gulf Coast Carnival Association maid to Queen Ixolib in 1987.  She was a lifelong member of St. John Parish and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Gulfport.
Kathy had a genuine passion for life and cherished every moment spent with her family and friends. She was the epitome of grace with her kind heart and sweet spirit. Kathy's strength and courage will always be a testament of her faith that God has a special purpose and gift for each of us, and those who were touched by her love and friendship will be forever blessed.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sadie Marie Hage; and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George (Fadwa) Salloum and Mr. and Mrs. Nassif (Catherine) Hage.
Kathy is survived by her loving father, Dr. Philip J. Hage; her beloved sister and brothers, Sheryl Hage Taylor and her husband, Kenneth, Sr., Philip Hage, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, Michael Hage, Sr. and his wife, Ashley, and Laurence Hage and his wife, Jesica; Kathy's niece and nephews whom she loved and adored; and many cousins and extended family members.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Gulfport, with visitation for family and friends from 9:00 AM until the Mass. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport.
