Kathleen Sue Lester, age 52, of Biloxi, passed away on May 7, 2008 in Gulfport after a courageous five year battle against cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack McCarney, Sr and Mary McCarney, and her father in law, Lemma W. Lester.
Mrs. Lester is survived by her husband, David J. Lester of Biloxi; her children, Shannon Marie Lester and her fiancé, Craig Hittner, and Rebecca Louise Lester, all of Biloxi; her brother, Mack McCarney and his wife, Linda, of Crownsville, MD; her sisters, Pat Virgilio of Gulfport and Vicki Marin and her husband, Ernie, of Wiggins; her mother in law, Louise A. Lester of Biloxi, and her sister in law and brother in law, Pat and Lonnie Sexton, and their son, Matthew Sexton, of Vancleave.
She was an assistant school teacher in the Biloxi Public School System having worked at Popps Ferry Elementary School for 17 years and was employed at IP Casino for the past 5 years.
In her memory, Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 12, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd, Biloxi.
