Katherine M. Turley, age 91 and a resident of Long Beach, died on Friday, September 7, 2007 in Long Beach.
Mrs. Turley was a longtime resident of the MS Gulf Coast and was a member of Napolean Baptist Church. She retired after 20 years of service with Keesler Federal Credit Union where she spent the last 13 years as manager of their overseas division in England.
Mrs. Turley is preceded in death by her parents, David J. & Emma Daniels Murphy; her husband, Thomas C. Turley; her brothers, Kenneth S. Murphy, Phillip C. Murphy, Clifton E. Murphy, Doran J. Murphy, and Dana K. Murphy; her sisters, Ollie M. Russ and Nancy M. Russ and her nieces, Nancy Lorraine Russ and Evelyn R. Ward.
She is survived by her nephews, Curtis Murphy, Gene Murphy, Shelby Murphy, Jay Murphy, Albert Murphy, Henry Murphy, Tommy Murphy, C.A. Russ, III, and Jimmy G. Russ; her nieces, Peggy Ann Levine, Dorothy Dell Nelson, Diane Holt, Debora Plonski, Ella Fortenberry, Sally R. LaBoulay, and Shannon R. Kidd; numerous great nephews, great nieces, great great nephews and great great nieces; loving each one dearly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 10, 2007 from 5-8pm at THE RIEMANN FAMILY'S FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Highway 49 North in Gulfport.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Napolean Cemetery in Hancock County.
