Katherine Lassere Dubuisson

Mrs. Katherine Lassere Dubuisson, age 94, passed away on April 17, 2011.
Mrs. Dubuisson was born in Cuevas, MS, to Eugene and Minnie Holley Lassere. She lived most of her life in the Pineville Community where she retired from the U.S. Postal Service as Postmaster of the Cuevas Post Office. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (Holy Family Parish).
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Martin E. Dubuisson; sisters, Olivia L. Reid and Montez L. Demourelle; brother, Harold E. Lassere; and a niece and nephew, Mary Ann Fayard and Philip Reid.
She is survived by her nieces, Joan Lassere Wagner, Pattie Reid Taconi, Mary Jane Reid Koch; nephew, John Lassere; great niece, Becky Fayard Watts, in addition to many other great nieces and great nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Menge Avenue, Pass Christian, at 2:00 p.m. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior.
Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach.
The family prefers memorials to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Holy Family Parish, 22342 Evangeline Road, Pass Christian, MS 39571.
