Karie Dolan
May 9, 1981 – January 27th, 2023
Eternally healed, Karie Dolan, age 41, stood to her feet and walked through the gates of Heaven, on January 27th, 2023.
Karie was born in Gulfport, where she remained a long-time resident, and graduated from Harrison Central High School in 1999. Side by side with her mother Jill, she worked in the payroll department at Island View Casino. Karie and Jill retired together in 2020, after 21 years.
Karie is forever reunited with family and friends who have gone before her. We picture, with a smile, the joyful celebration as Karie ran into the open arms of her father, Timmy Dolan. Joining the Heavenly celebration was her brother, Timothy Dolan; maternal grandparents Carey & Aggie Hadaway; paternal grandparents Johnny Dolan and Earl and Evelyn Rouse; aunt and uncle, Sally and David Bogolin; aunt, Sharon Daniels.
She is survived by her mother, Jill Dolan; sister, Paige (Sean) Conley; brother, Christopher Dolan; nephews, Hunter Conley, Levi and Easton Dolan; and niece, Kamryn Conley. Karie was so special to countless others that survive her including many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
With the unfailing support of her mother, who is always a beautiful example of love in its purest form, Karie was not bound by circumstance. She lived life and lived it well. Karie loved to take cruises with her family, she attended many live concerts, she enjoyed making crafts, and was always ready to go out shopping. Known as “KK” to the children she helped raise through the years, Karie could often be found riding around with a little one on the footrest.
She was small in stature, but Karie packed a huge personality. She was feisty, quick witted, and strong willed. She was personable, funny, and kind. Karie had a soft heart and a sweet faith. She was a member of Harvest Church, Gulfport, where one of her favorite parts of worship was the music.
Her absence leaves a void with many, but there is precious peace found in the promise of being together again one day.
Friends are invited to celebrate and remember Karie with family on Thursday, February 2nd, 2023, from 1:00pm – 2:00pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach. Services will begin at 2:00pm with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport.
