Karen Florence Webb, beloved sister, aunt and friend, 65, died December 16, 2011 in her home.
She was a trained vocational nurse, however she spent most of her life as the owner of Karen's Workroom, a design and fabrication business, swooping and swagging her way up and down the coast, beautifying people's homes. Karen was known for her big heart and for being an avid animal lover, giving food and shelter to area cats, especially after Katrina. She was the secretary of the Historical Society and president of the Garden Club, during and after Katrina. She was a member of the Pineville Presbyterian Church.
Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Hendrix, her parents, and a brother.
She is survived by two sisters, Mandy Jane Sicking and Glenda Joyce Webb, one brother, Paul Thomas Webb, four nieces and two nephews, all from Texas.
Services will be held at Pineville Presbyterian Church, 4476 Menge Avenue in Pass Christian, on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Everyone who knew and loved Karen for her caring, her passion and her strength is welcome to attend.
