Karen Savoy

Karen Ann Rodriguez Savoy, age 54, resident of Picayune, passed away on her birthday, October 25, 2022. Karen was born in New Orleans to Danny Joseph and Tonia Marie Desmolle Rodriguez.

Karen was a lifelong resident of Boothville, Louisiana and relocated to Picayune, Mississippi following Hurricane Katrina. Karen loved and adored her family. She found great purpose in caring for her son, Chaz. She loved sitting around a bonfire with family and friends, listening to music and reveling in each other’s company. During football season you could find her wearing black and gold cheering on the Saints. Christmas holidays were her favorite, for it was then that she would shower her most cherished with food, gifts, and immeasurable affection.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Edward Lee Savoy, Jr.; daughter, Jacqueline Munsterman (Randy); son, Chaz Ryan Savoy; granddaughter, Olivia Ann Munsterman; and sister, Cindy Rodriguez.

The family will have a gathering at their home in Picayune, Mississippi on Saturday, November 5, 2022, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
