Kalman "Andy" Andrews

Kalman “Andy” Andrews of D’Iberville, MS, entered the house of our Lord Sunday, October 31, 2021, in the comfort of his home.  He was 61 years old.

Born in Newfane, NY, October 30, 1960, Andy was raised in Barker, NY, as the youngest of five children to Harry and Winifred “Kate” (Wheeler) Andrews.  Andy proudly served as a Builder Third Class in the United States Navy Seabees from 1979 to 1984, and was stationed at Naval Mobile Construction Battalion One, Charlie Company, in Gulfport, MS.  After completing his service, Andy went on to work as an Outside Sales Specialist at Bailey Lumber and Supply in Ocean Springs, where he dedicated his skills and desire to serve others for the next 35 years.

His life was firmly centered on loving and protecting his family.  All who knew Andy loved and respected him, and he lived his life as a model of integrity, hard-work, kindness, and service to others.  His favorite pastimes included watching football, his favorites being the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints, listening to the evening news, and spending time laughing and talking with his wife and daughter.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Winifred “Kate” (Wheeler) Andrews, brothers Harry “Butch” Andrews and Lawrence Andrews, and his niece Lisa Andrews.  He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Carolyn (Wilson) Andrews; beloved daughter, U.S. Air Force Captain Kayla Andrews; brother, David (Lynn) Andrews and their children, Eric and Aaron; sister, Maureen (Robert) Ronson and their children, Joshua (Melissa), David (Jessica), and Rachel; sister-in-law, Shelley (Mawhiney) Andrews and her children, Chad (Kristen), Kyle (Jamie), and Jenna (Steve); as well as his many great nieces and nephews, relatives, friends, and beloved dog Ransom who made his heart whole.

Friends may call on Monday, November 8th from 11 AM – 1 PM at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi, with funeral services to follow at 1 PM.  Interment will be at Biloxi National Cemetery immediately following the service.
