Justin Rude

Justin Michael Rude age 39, a native of Biloxi, MS and a resident of Gulfport, MS passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen J. (Champion) Rude.

Justin is survived by his father, Thomas G. Rude; his fiancée, Kathleen “Kat” Schlitz; his children, Lexi, Hannah, Noah, Lucas and Jacob; his siblings, Kim Smith (Jon) of Bowling Green, Ohio, Miki Batteen of Biloxi, MS, and Krysta Laminack of Wiggins, MS; his grandmother, Donna Champion of Venice, Florida; nieces and nephews,  Kaitlyn Moore (Caleb), Justin, Zackary, Zoe, Haley, Elisabeth, Brianna, Aaron, and Annaleigh and one great-nephew, Timothy; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Justin was a graduate of D’Iberville High School class of 2002, and a graduate of West Point Military Academy in 2006.He then served in the United States Army from 2006 until 2012.

A celebration of life visitation will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. in West Jackson County from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.  Interment will take place at a later date.
