June Smith Warden

June Smith Warden, age 82 of Gulfport, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Friday, September 22, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Opal Smith; her sisters, Norma Brashears and Erma Gilreath; and her brother, Donald Smith.

June is survived by her husband of 66 years, Harmon D. Warden; and her children, Brenda Daniel of Seattle, WA, Robin Warden-Chrisman of Gulfport, MS, David Warden (Tina) of Sumrall MS, and Sharon Bond (Mike) of Gulfport, MS; and 10 grandchildren.

She enjoyed woodworking and spending time on her daily walks with her best friend, Nelda.  June attended Klein Road Church of God, Gulfport.

The family would like to thank the staff at Lakeview Nursing Center and Vital Care Home Health for their compassion, love, and care during her time of need. 

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, September 25, 2023, at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
