June Fay Camp

d. February 5, 2012

June Fay Camp, age 58, of Pass Christian, passed away to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 5, 2012, in New Orleans, LA at Ochsner Medical Center.
June was born in the Rocky Hill community of Hancock County. She graduated from Hancock North Central High School and MS Gulf Coast Community College. She also attended the University of Southern Mississippi where she studied elementary education.
June worked for several years at Delisle Elementary School where she loved her job as a second grade teacher assistant. She also loved teaching religious education classes to the children in her church.
June was a devout and loving Catholic. She was a member of and regularly attended Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church (formerly known as St. Ann's, St. William's, and St. Stephen's) in Pass Christian, MS.
June was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Joseph Ladner, and mother Hattie Woods Ladner.
She is survived by Clyde Edward Camp Jr (husband), Beth Ann (Camp) Waltman (daughter), Randall James Ladner (brother), Jeffery Joseph Ladner (brother), Patrick Anthony Ladner (brother), Pamela Ladner McGuire (sister), Breanna Marie Waltman (granddaughter), Sarah Ruth Waltman (granddaughter), and Madalyn Grace Waltman (granddaughter) and numerous nieces and nephews. June loved and served her family, being special to each in her own way. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 37 years and all others who knew her.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. J.B. Franklin, Internal Medicine, and Dr. Stephen W. Baker, Cardiologist, for the care and treatment each gave June, giving us many more loving years with her. June felt that they both cared for her as if they were her own family.
June enjoyed the planting and caring for the flowers in her yard; watching the cycle of life that they taught; the planting, growing, blossoming and seeding for the next generation to replace those whose time had come and gone. She knew well that this same cycle of life would be carried out with her and her daughters and granddaughters.
Visitation for friends will be from 6:00-9:00 pm on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME on 9113 Kiln-Delisle Rd., Pass Christian, MS. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church on 9062 Kiln Delisle Rd., Pass Christian.
