Mr. Julius """"J.C."""" Dudley, age 59, resident of Long Beach, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2008, in Gulfport.
J.C. was born in Elizabeth, NJ and grew up in Staten Island, NY and Worcester, NY, where he graduated from high school. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee during the Vietnam War. He married Linda Wojes in 1971 in Schenectady, NY, and they moved to the Coast. He worked at Memorial Hospital in Engineering after serving in the Navy. He later then went to work for the Civil Service as a Construction Contract Inspector, where he retired after 26 years. He enjoyed camping with his family, loved music, and was a proud Papa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard """"Charlie"""" Dudley and Stella Dudley.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Dudley of Long Beach; children, Wendy Dudley of Long Beach, and Joel Dudley of Long Beach; and his granddaughter, Ann Elise Claire Heath.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, August 26, 2008, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Long Beach, at 10:00 a.m.
