Juliette Norris

Juliette Beckett Fatherree Norris, age 70, of Gulfport, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.

Julie was employed with Hancock Bank and AT&T. Many children benefited from her commitment to and enjoyment in teaching them to swim. Julie had a tremendous zest for life. She loved beaches, cruises, and lazy rivers. She always looked forward to her Friday lunches with some of her many friends. If Julie knew you, you were her friend. Julie had a generous and giving heart and helped many children and adults.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. J. P. Fatherree and Jane Boyd Fatherree; and her infant sister, Mary.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Don Norris; children, Beckett Dutil and Jay Ellis; stepsons, Don Norris, Jr. and Damon (Katja) Norris; siblings, John Fatherree, Jane Bennett (Jeff), Courtenay Davis (Charley), and Adrian Rayner; her sister-in-law Beverly Joy Holley; and eleven grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from 12-2 pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.  Services will be held in the chapel at 2:00 pm.  Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

Her family greatly appreciates the wonderful care she received from Kare in Home hospice, especially Taylor, Cammie, and Chaplin Connie.
