She is survived by her six children, Rick (Fabienne) McCullough, Jerry McCullough, Jean (Gary) McLeod, Alan (Lori) McCullough, Steve (Jennifer) McCullough and Don McCullough; nine grandchildren, Christopher McCullough, Ashley (Howard) Stark, Matt (Catie) McCullough, Julie (Jeff) Wiseman, Garrett (Stephanie) McLeod, Melanie McLeod, Crystal McLeod (Kris Stovall), Kyle (Kathy) McCullough and Gabriel McCullough; and seven great-grandsons, Wyatt Stark, Sawyer Stark, Izaiyah Stovall, Collin McCullough, Leo Wiseman, Everett McLeod and Nolan McCullough. Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, and her three younger sisters, Thelma Hastings, Hazel Holdeman, and Elsie Rishel. They were married in 1950 in a double ceremony that also included her sister, Thelma, and Bill Hastings. Julia loved music, card games and dancing. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend; and was happiest when she was gathered with those whom she loved. She always had a smile on her face and a tune in her heart. Even in her last years when her mind faltered, her joyful heart never wavered. The family would like to especially thank the staffs of One Magnolia Assisted Living Center, Lakeview Nursing Center, Garden Park Hospital and Canon Hospice for the loving care they provided. A private funeral service for 10 family members will be held at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd., Long Beach on Saturday, April 11, 2020 and the funeral service will be live streamed starting at 11:00 AM at https://iframe.dacast.com/b/156512/c/532024 Additional memorial services may be announced later at a more appropriate time for a full celebration of Julia's life.
