Judy Ann Poolson Wrensted
May 13, 1941- May 26, 2022
On May 26,2022, at 6:21 pm, Heaven gained a precious angel. Judy Ann Poolson Wrensted lost her battle with dementia. She was a life- long resident of Hancock County.
She was a wonderfully loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, niece, aunt, cousin, friend, and faithful servant of God. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, cooking, gardening, talking on the phone, television, and her music. She made award-winning sweet tea that was out of this world delicious. People still rave about her sweet tea. She leaves a legacy of wonderful recipes.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Jules Albert Poolson, Sr. and Edna Genevia Lind Poolson, her sister, Myrna Poolson Favre, and her husband, John Wrensted, Jr.
She is survived by her sister, Roberta Faye Poolson Lafontaine, Jules Poolson, Jr.(Janice), her three children, Amy Rhodes Richardson ( Mike), Keeli Wrensted DiNapolis(Mike), and John Wrensted, III (Valerie), her eight grandchildren, Mandy Richardson Ladner, Cory Richardson, Tess Richardson, Michael DiNapolis, Destin DiNapolis, Tyler Wrensted, Alyssa Wrensted Stewart, and Carley Wrensted Barnett, and her five great grandchildren, Elle Dupuy, Elias Ladner, Haddie and Callie Richardson, Halen and Layla Wrensted, and Ryan Stewart.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at St. Clare Catholic Church, 2365 South Beach Blvd, Waveland, MS from10 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Burial will follow at Waveland Cemetery.
