Judy Salvage

Judy Salvage, age 78 of Long Beach, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022.

She was a native of Stoneham, MA and graduated from Stoneham High School.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Katherine Szabo; her husband, Roger Salvage, Sr.; her sister, Anne Reed; and her brother, Paul Szabo; and her long time friend, Hugh Reed.

She is survived by her children, Ann Allen (Forrest), Roger Salvage (Tammy), and Sandy Salvage; her brothers, Stephen Szabo, Jr. (Linda) and Jack Szabo (Seisko); her grandchildren, Logan Rogers, Autumn Rogers, Cassidy Rogers, James Allen, Emma Allen, Angelica Volz, Casey Salvage, and Nicole Salvage; and her great grandchildren, Penelope and Sophia.

Judy retired from City of Gulfport Water Department.  She loved the beach, reading, and bingo.  But most of all, she loved spending time with her grandkids.

The family would like to thank all the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice for all their comfort and thoughtfulness.  A special thank you goes out to Naomi, her home health care nurse.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Judy may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 4 - 5 pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach.  A prayer service will be held at 5 pm in the funeral home chapel.  A reception will be from 5:30 pm - 7 pm in the funeral home reception center.
