Judy A. Mitchell, age 66 of Pass Christian, died on Friday, April 29, 2011, in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Krock.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her husband of 45 years, O.G. (Mitch) Mitchell of Pass Christian; her mother, Edith Krock of Gulfport; her daughters, Pam (Savie) Chiniche of Pass Christian and Kim (Keith) Ladner of Long Beach; her sisters, Linda Carter of Gulfport and Lori (Perry) Dollar of Long Beach; two grandchildren, Alicen Jackson of Long Beach and Dakota Chiniche of Pass Christian; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Mitchell was a member of Burton Memorial United Methodist Church where she played the piano and organ for over 50 years and held numerous church offices.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent in her memory to Burton Memorial United Methodist Church, 2419 22nd Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Evergreen Gardens in Gulfport.
