Judy Lane Davis Lee

February 7, 1943 — May 7, 2023

Long Beach

Judy Davis Lee, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in her Long Beach, MS home on May 7th, 2023. She was 80 years old.

Judy was born on February 7th, 1943, in Richwood, West Virginia to Leon and Juanita Davis.  Judy retired from Safeway after many years of hard work. Apart from her career, Judy had many hobbies and interests. She loved bowing and playing bingo. More than anything though she enjoyed spending time with her loving family during family vacations and at home.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Juanita Davis; her brother, Robert Davis; and her sister, Blondell Spencer.

Judy was married to Gerald R. Lee for an impressive 59 years. Together they had three children, Gerald R. Lee Jr. (Judith), Kimberly Lee and Pamela Lee (Joe Furnari).  Judy leaves behind her sweet pet dog Khole whom she adored beyond words.  She was also blessed with grandchildren Ashley Powell (Donald), Tiffany Lee (Allen Crowell), Jacob Lee (Kayla), Roy Bailey, Heather Bailey, Kayla Wines, Shelby Thomas, and Kelsey Thomas, as well as great-grandchildren Tristan & Aubrey Blackburn, Carly, Colton & Bristol Powell, Jackson & Emma Lee, and Landon Lewis. In addition to her immediate family members listed above Judy is survived by her dear sister Brenda Hamrick (Jerry).

We will all miss Judy's kind-hearted spirit as well as her infectious laugh that lit up every room she entered.  Judy will be remembered fondly by those who knew her best for many years to come.
