Julia "Judy" Bassett Campassi, age 68, of Long Beach, passed away on June 28, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her parents, A.D. and Anna Lee Bassett; and an infant sister, Joanne Bassett.
Survivors include her husband, Michael "Mickey" Campassi; her children, Julia "Elise" May (Zack) and Marianna Ladner (Jarrod); her brother, Joe Bassett (Tina); her grandchildren, Clayton Michael Smith, Chase Michael Ladner, Julia Ann May, and Evie Kate May; and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Campassi retired from teaching after 35 years and had a great passion for the children she taught. She dedicated her life to her family, especially her daughters, and her greatest joy was attending the Neshoba County Fair.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, from 10 am - 12 pm at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 E Beach Blvd., Long Beach. A prayer service will be at 12 pm in the church. Interment will be in Long Beach City Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of Seashore Highlands Methodist Center for their love and care for Judy.
