Jude Swint

Jude Michael Swint, age 82, of Diamondhead, passed away on May 7, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Otis Swint and Jewel Morgan Swint; and a brother, Jon Alan Swint.
Survivors include his wife, Amy Billingsley Swint; his children, Deborah Swint Atchley and husband, Bill and their children, Amanda Atchley, Jamie Atchley Bradford and husband, Les; Bridgett Swint Aehnlich and husband, Brian, and their children, Amy Aehnlich Murr and her husband, Romedy, Paul Aehnlich, and Jessica Aehnlich, and Rebecca Swint Estopinal and her husband, D.J.; 5 great-grandchildren, Gage and Gracie Bradford, Anna Grace, Mila, and Everly Murr; a brother, Joel Kenneth Swint and his wife, Louise; and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Swint graduated from Alabama Polytechnic Institute (now Auburn University) in 1954 with a degree in Textile Engineering. After serving 2 years in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, he began his career with Monsanto Company working in the textile division and later in the chemical division in quality assurance. He retired from the company after 31 years of service. He enjoyed traveling, reading, and golfing. He was a member of Diamondhead Community Church.
A memorial service will be on Friday, May 12, 2017, at 10 am at Diamondhead Community Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Diamondhead Community Church.
