Juanita Virginia Ricks Pavolini, age 89, of Delisle passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018.
Mrs. Pavolini was born in Kentwood, LA, and lived most of her life on the Coast. She loved word puzzles, crocheting and ceramics. She worked at the Harrison County Senior Citizens Center for many years where she taught crafts.
Mrs. Pavolini was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Martin Houston Pavolini; her parents, Warren and Virgie Stapleton Ricks; her brother, Warren R. Ricks; and her sister, Celia Blades.
She is survived by her sons, Martin Pavolini, Jr. and Warren F. Pavolini of Delisle, and Gerald Pavolini of Pass Christian; daughters, Judith Kay Dickenson, Doris LaRosa (David), and Elaine Duprey, all of Long Beach, and Glenda Bennett (Art) of Alexandria, LA; her sister, Lucille Lassabe; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior.
Burial will follow at New Delisle Cemetery.
