On July 23, 2010, the Lord sent the angels to bring His precious daughter, Joyce Marie Saelens, Home at age 69.
She was a lifelong resident of Long Beach.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Saelens; a son, Wallace Davis; her mother, Ruth Davis; two sisters, Lois Pavolini and Ann Davis; and a brother, Charlie B. Davis.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Brady (Kenny) and Mathew Saelens; her father, Willie (Bill) Davis; two sisters, Nora Clark (Mac) and Ella J. Moran (Tim); three brothers, Benny Davis (Anne), Willie S. Davis (Mary), and Ronnie E. Davis (Lynn); and five grandchildren, Joseph, Katelyn, Ezeckiel, Christian, and Jaden..
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 26, 2010, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at 11:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery.
