Joyce Bell Nicholson, age 72, of Gulfport, passed away on October 9, 2009 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight """"Boe"""" Nicholson; her son, James """"Jim"""" Nicholson; and her parents, James M. Hutchinson and Ernestine Hutchinson.
She is survived by her children, Terri Crawford of Gulfport and Douglas """"Doug"""" Nicholson of McClain, MS; her sisters, Mary Graham of New Augusta, MS and Patricia Freeman of Richton, MS; her grandchildren, Stacie Ramsey, Stephanie Tootle, Paul Nicholson, Kyle Nicholson, and Shannon Powers; and her great grandchild, Braxton Powers.
She was of the Baptist faith. She was a seamstress for many years. After retirement, she devoted her life to her family.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12, 2009 at Noon at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport, where family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.
