Joyce Holden Malley, age 72, resident of Pass Christian, died, Monday, February 19, 2007 in Pass Christian.
Mrs. Malley was a lifelong resident of the coast and a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux and a former seamstress at Mack Smith garment factory and Pass Christian Industries. Her involvements in the church included Eucharistic Minister, religious education teacher, director of numerous ladies' Cursillo and numerous girls' retreats. She also received the Lumen Christi Award. She dedicated her life to the Lord's work.
Mrs. Malley was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Malley; her parents, Crosby """"Bud"""" Holden and Thelma Holden; a son Hershel Malley; a great grandson, Joseph Malley and two sisters, Vera McGill and Pat Peterson.
She is survived by her children, Barbara """"Bobbie"""" Malley of Tallahassee, FL, Roger Malley of Dedeaux, Janet Malley of Dedeaux, Tracy Malley of Gulfport, and John Clyde Malley of Dedeaux; her best friend, Eula Mae Ladner of Dedeaux; her siblings, Dewey Holden of Kiln, Shelby Holden of Kiln, Elaine Lee of Picayune, Charlotte Craft of Carriere and Melinda Walters of Pearlington; three grandchildren, Chirstopher Malley, Danita Malley and Brian Malley all of Dedeaux; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, February 23, 2007 after 6:00 p.m., with a rosary at 8:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dedeaux. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
