Joyce Donlin, age 79, of Pass Christian, died Thursday, June 25, 2009 in Gulfport.
She was a native and lifelong resident of the coast and attended Perkinston Jr. College for 2 years. She worked as a telephone operator and later worked in the cafeteria at St. Paul Catholic School. She enjoyed playing bingo , playing cards with her friends and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Donlin, Sr.; her parents, Willie and Edna Necaise, a brother, Everett Necaise, and a sister, Lillian Moran.
Survivors include her children: Sharon (Bill) Sperance, Charlene Swanson, Terri (Jeff) Saegert, Jeanne (Brian) Jernigan, Karen (Raymond) Smith, and Charles (Cindi) Donlin; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Menge Ave., Pass Christian. Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30.
Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
